Celebrating B Corp Month

This year’s campaign — This Way Forward — champions B Corp Certification as a continual work in progress. 

‘This Way Forward’ is more than just a theme, it’s proof of our shared commitment to perpetual progress and a testament to the fact that B Corp Certification is not a final destination, but a starting point. 

We were certified among other industry leaders over a year ago now, with and overall B Corp Impact Score of a 96.7% and together we are constantly making moves to create more inclusive workspaces, improve our environmental and social impact, and respond to the ever-changing issues in the world. So, if you want to look forward to better business, certified B Corp businesses are the place to start and certainly the ones we are looking ‘This Way Forward’ with. 

What is a B Corp™ - in case you're wondering?

B Corp™ is shorthand for Certified B Corporations. This certification is given by a third party (the non-profit, B Lab) to for profit companies that meet the highest standards of impact along a number of axes: social and environmental performance, governance, transparency and legal accountability. The goal is to educate the public (and the business community) about balancing profit with purpose and using business as a force for good.

Do B Corps actually make a difference?

Yes. This is part of what makes B Corp Certification different: it’s not just about what you say, it’s about what you do. The B Corp community works toward reduced inequality, lower levels of poverty, a healthier environment, stronger communities, and the creation of more high-quality jobs with dignity and purpose.

Basically, it just means that we’re doing good and that somebody else can attest to it and it’s an absolute honour to be celebrating this month along with other industry leaders and proving you can lead with heart and still run an impactful successful company.
