How do I choose the right cushion size?

Start with the scale of your furniture. Smaller sofas suit 45cm cushions, while larger lounges can layer 55–60cm pieces behind them. Lumbar cushions (like 90 × 48 cm) are ideal for adding contrast and support.

What materials are Pony Rider cushions made from?

Our covers are produced using organic cotton, heavy-duty canvas, linen blends and other premium textiles chosen for durability and feel. Many pieces are made using natural or hard-wearing fibres designed for everyday life.

Are your cushion inserts included?

Some styles are sold as covers, with inserts available separately so you can reuse what you already own. Pony Rider inserts are filled with responsibly sourced feathers and sized to fit our covers perfectly for a full, plush look.

How should I style cushions on a couch or bed?

Layer larger sizes at the back and work forward with smaller or feature designs. Mixing textures — like canvas with linen or waffle — adds depth, while combining solids and patterns keeps the look relaxed and lived-in.

Are these cushions suitable for families and high-traffic areas?

Yes. Many of our fabrics are chosen for durability, making them ideal for living rooms, kids' spaces, and holiday homes. Darker tones and canvas styles are particularly forgiving.

Can Pony Rider cushions be used outdoors?

Canvas and truck-canvas styles work beautifully outdoors or in covered areas. Like all soft furnishings, they'll last longer if not left permanently exposed to heavy weather.

What cushion colours work best?

If your space is neutral, cushions are perfect for adding contrast or seasonal colour. If your room already features strong tones, choose designs that complement rather than compete.
