It’s been a big couple of years – the kind that test your courage, sharpen your focus, and remind you why you started in the first place. At Pony Rider, we’ve been quietly rebuilding the bones – redefining our mission, resetting our rhythm, and realigning everything we do with what truly matters: home, adventure, and our connection to nature.
This year kicked off with a bang. We packed the van, hit the road to New Zealand, and launched our partnership with The Sherwood, Queenstown – a place that’s always felt like family. There’s something special about that community; they live and breathe the same values we do – creativity, sustainability, and a deep respect for the wild. The previous owner has since started a new chapter, re-planting his land and creating a private yurt retreat – a full-circle moment that feels symbolic of where we’re at too.
The past two years have been a rebuild. We’ve been fine-tuning our product, tightening our systems, and expanding our view – from homewares to adventure gear, from product to experience. We’ve re-written our mission statement to reflect not just what we make, but why we make it.
"Made for home. Built for adventure. Connected to nature. Crafted to last."
That’s our heartbeat. Simple words, but behind them lives everything we believe in – craftsmanship, community, and a responsibility to the planet.
As we gear up for what’s next, there’s a sense of grounded excitement. The foundation feels strong. The purpose is clear. And the horizon looks wide open.
Go find your best self.
